Eight O’Clock Theatre will hold auditions for A CHORUS LINE on May 14 & 15 at 7pm at the Central Park Performing Arts Center (105 Central Park Dr., Largo FL 33771.
The show runs July 14-23, 2017
Please prepare 16 bars of a Musical Theatre song (in your key) that showcases your range and personality.
Bring sheet music; a pianist will be provided.
No a capella or recorded music.
Wear or bring proper dance attire (no sandals or flip-flops).
There may be readings from the script.
Rehearsals are Monday – Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. Rehearsals will begin on May 22.
Please bring a list of any conflicts to the audition along with a
current headshot and resume (if you have one).
Most roles are open. All roles are unpaid.

Cassie Ferguson: mid-30’s; strong dancer who just wants to work again after playing leads on Broadway and taking a break; Soprano
Zack: mid-late 30’s; the director/choreographer; non-singing
Diana Morales: 27; down-to-earth dancer from the Bronx; Mezzo
Paul San Marco: 28; shy and lacks confidence due to his difficult childhood; Baritone
Sheila Bryant: 29; sassy with an attitude; Alto
Val Clark: 25; confident dancer due to cosmetically enhanced body; Mezzo
Bobby Mills: 25; over-confident and proud of being “different;” Baritone
Al DeLuca: 30; confident and supportive of his wife, Kristine; Baritone
Kristine DeLuca: 22; nervous, fidgety, and uneasy about her “non-singing” ability; married to Al; Mezzo
Mike Costa: 24; Italian dancer who stumbled into dance by accident; Tenor
Greg Gardner: 32; pompous dancer with an attitude; Baritone
Maggie Winslow: 25; shy and sweet; Soprano
Bebe Benzenheimer: 26; awkward and sweet; Alto
Mark Anthony: 20; young and naïve; Tenor
Don Kerr: 26; straight guy with a taste for busty women; Baritone
Richie Walters: 27; black dancer with attitude; Tenor
Connie Wong/MacKenzie: 32; if Connie is Asian, she tried to be elusive, but sweet; if she is not Asian, she’s sweet and homespun; Alto
