Acting Auditions Denver

In cooperation with the Denver Center Theatre Company, auditions for non-Equity actors will be held on Friday, May 14 and Saturday, May 15. Actors should prepare two monologues– one classical verse piece and one contemporary piece – combined length not to exceed three minutes. Actors who sing should also prepare 16 bars of a song from a traditional legit American musical – please no rock, folk, or hip hop. Bring three headshots/resumes (a copier will not be provided) and sheet music if you are singing. An accompanist will be provided.

All actors must be adults over the age of 18 to qualify for these auditions.

All auditions are by appointment only, and auditions will be scheduled via email. Audition appointments are currently being taken.

Email – casting@dcpa.org. Please indicate if you are AEA or non-AEA, and if you will be singing at your audition, in the email. Audition appointments are assigned on a first-come first-served basis, and once an audition time is scheduled it will be considered confirmed. Any changes requested after an audition is confirmed may or may not be honored, depending on availability. The auditions will be held at The Jones Theatre at the corner of Speer Boulevard and Arapahoe Street in downtown Denver.This audition is free and open to anyone. Actors do not need to be a member of the Colorado Theatre Guild to audition.
