DC / Maryland casting call for film

Casting Talent for Short Film

The short film “Raymond & Lina” follows a grandfather raising his young granddaughter. It’s a quiet, coming-of-age story during the last days of summer.

We’re looking for actors for the following roles to participate in the film being shot in the DC area during the second week of August. We’re looking for trained and nonprofessional actors to fill the following parts:

– African American Girl, 9-14
– African American Male, 50-70
– African American Boy, 9-14
– African American Male, 20-30
– African American Female, 20-30

The final shooting script will be shaped by director and talent and will rely on some improvisation.

Talent must be able to commit to filming dates during August 7-14th, and have weekend and/ or evening availability during July for rehearsals. We want to see people be themselves, as well as show us what talents they have.

Auditions will take place on June 5th, 2010, in NW Washington DC. Applicants will be notified by email of location and time of audition. All applicants under 18 must have guardian permission to attend the audition.

Please email conchocolateprod@gmail.com with picture, resume/ information.

Much thanks and good luck!
