CBS’s long running soap “As The World Turns” is celebrating a remarkable 50 year run by giving a fan the opportunity to audition to dance on stage. This one in a lifetime chance for a lucky fan will put the soap fan alongside Eileen Fulton in an episode of the long running soap opera. The lucky fans will get narrowed down to a group of 10. At that point people will vote at CBS.com and choose a winner by popularity.
As The World Turns auditions for 50th anniversary dance contest – May 18, 2010, will mark the 50th anniversary of Eileen Fulton’s remarkable run playing “Lisa Grimaldi” on As The World Turns. In celebration of Eileen’s accomplishments, As The World Turns will air a special episode featuring Eileen singing on the show and will provide a fan the once in a lifetime opportunity to perform alongside her in the episode.
CBS.com will host a contest starting March 15 to find the lucky fan who will perform with Eileen on the 5/18 episode. ATWT Casting will narrow down the field to ten before opening the voting to CBS.com users. On the results of that vote, the field will be narrowed down to three and another round of CBS.com voters will pick the winner.
