Auditions for “Unchain My Heart… The Ray Charles Musical” Broadway production
Equity Chorus Calls/Singers and Dancers. Equity contract 1605 per week minimum.
Seeking 2 boys ages 8 to 10, 4 men and 6 women for the cast. All characters must dance.
Breakdowns:
Four Men and Six Women: Characters are African American and Caucasian, ages 20s – 40s. Seeking dancer/singers and singer/actor/movers to play a variety of characters. Also seeking Four Swings (two of each gender; same description).
Two Young Boys: Seeking two boys ages 8 – 10 (to play younger). Characters are African American: Ray as a boy (age 6) and Ray’s brother George (age 5). These actors also play Ray’s Sons in Act II. Good singer/actors. Also seeking one Swing (same description).
Please prepare 16 bars of a soul/R&B/blues song. Bring sheet music; accompanist provided. Please bring a picture and resume, stapled together.
