Roxey Ballet will hold dancer auditions for its main company auditions during the month of July and August. For directions info or to schedule an appointment please call Roxey Ballet at 609-397-7616. Bring 4 professional references.Dances must be strong classical ballet dancers with the ability to handle multiple styles including, Jazz, Modern, Contemproary, Boradway, Tap, Hip Hop and ethic dance. Acting, Spoken word and voice skills a plus. 2 years professional experience will be given special consideration.
Roxey Ballet seeks classical dancers with a strong modern and contemporary base. Females 5’3″ to 5’11″and males 5’8″ to 6’3″ are encouraged to apply. Diversity among artists is stressed in Roxey Ballet. Professional artists interested in auditioning should forward a headshot, resume, video and letter/s of recommendation prior to the audition. References will be required.
Female artists should bring pointe shoes. All artists should plan to take class, improvise, partner and work on company choreography. Arrive one half hour early to register. Call-backs will be held in New Jersey. Dancers unable to attend this audition should make plans to be seen prior to June 1.
