Classical and Contemporary Dance Troupe Auditions/and Nutcracker
Children’s Ballet Theater, directed by Mary and Dmitri Roudnev, will hold auditions for its classical, Russian style Nutcracker Ballet on Tuesday July 20 and 22 at 5:30-6:30pm (or other date by appt) at the Buckman Performing Arts Center on 60 Perkins Ext. in Memphis TN. Auditions for the December production are for paid roles for professional dancers, adult volunteers and teens. Roles cast will include Party Girls, Clara, Sugar Plum Fairy, Prince, Arabian, Party Scene adults, Mouse King and more. Dancers may also audition for the Children’s Ballet Theater Troupe comprised of adults and teens with dance experience. The troupe performs classical as well as its own contemporary, modern and jazz choreography.
