This is a new York audition for a new urban web series.
Award winning film production company (Stuart Films)and Director Nick Gavin are currently accepting submissions for their new urban-based web series titled “Hopelessly Devoted” which traces all that entails the lifestyles of teenagers undergoing their high school years. Peer pressure, crushes, popularity, decisions… you name it.
It’ll be a one weekend shoot in April or May (TBD). No pay. Meals, copy, and credit, aside from a unique opportunity to develop new relationships with open, cordial, talented, professional, and friendly colleagues provided.
We are looking for a male Latino/Hispanic actor (18+) for the role of “Suave.” The character’s name is self-explanatory and he must represent exactly what it defines. In the series he carries and displays the opposite of what a couple of the other characters represent.
“Suave” is in his teens (MUST LOOK the part!), smooth, hip, has an “it” swagger and also the school’s Don Juan. A gabber who knows how to talk to girls and oozes his confidence among his classmates under any circumstance…
Audition date(s) still to be determined, but more than likely will be in April.
