Clayton Community Theater is holding auditions in Clayton, MO
Clayton Community Theatre was not able to cast the leading roles of Rachel and Lloyd in Reckless from its recent auditions. These are very strong and very challenging parts for actors looking for real challenge. Anyone interested in arranging to read for director Judy Yordon should call her at 314-838-7328 We want to fill these roles quickly with strong actors. Rehearsals are scheduled to start November 15.
Reckless, a darkly comic tale about a modern day Alice trying to find her way in a perilous winter wonderland by Craig Lucas, will be performed at the Washington University South Campus Theater January 28-February 6, 2011, with Friday and Saturday evening and Sunday matinee performances.
Rachel – a wife and mother in her late 20s, early 30s. The entire play is her dream (or nightmare) of what happens after her husband tells her (on Christmas Eve) that he has taken a contract out on her life.
Lloyd – a stranger with a shady past who picks Rachel up at a gas station. She ends up living with him and his wife, Pooty. Actor should be in his late 20s, early 30s.
