Auditions for female vocalists to perform for Disney parks in the production of “Finding Nemo”
Disney Parks Talent Casting is seeking female musical theatre performers of all ethnicities and builds to portray principal and ensemble roles for Finding Nemo, the Musical, an original musical theatre production based on the Disney – Pixar hit animated feature, at the Walt Disney World® Resort in Orlando, FL.
All performers employed by the Walt Disney World Resort are covered under the terms and conditions of a Collective Bargaining Agreement with Actors’ Equity Association.
Seeking the following Principal roles:
Dory – 30s. A forgetful, yet very optimistic lady fish and Marlin’s companion during this journey. Extremely quirky and an expert with comedic material. Character singer, comfortable flying at heights.
Nemo – Female, late teens – early 20s. Adorable, endlessly curious, spirited, childlike and fearless, yet at the same time naïve and vulnerable. Bright and youthful mix or belt.
Seeking the following Ensemble roles:
Deb and Peach – “The Tank Gang”. Great character types living in the fish tank when Nemo drops in. Both must be musical with great energy and comedic timing.
Squirt – Female. 20s. Crush’s son who loves to ride the waves. Petite actress who sings and is comfortable flying in the air.
Additional ensemble roles, not identified above, will be cast from this open call.

Applicants must be at least 18 and authorized to work in the United States.
Please bring a current headshot and resume.
Please prepare the best 16 bars of a musical selection and provide clearly marked sheet music, in the correct key, for the accompanist. Prerecorded accompaniment or a cappella auditions are not allowed.
Please note: Actors appear as themselves while at the same time manipulating a puppet of their specific character.
Callbacks will be held May 11 – 12, 2010 in Orlando. Applicants asked to return to the callbacks must attend in order to be considered for these roles.
