Dreamworks Open Casting Call “Welcome To People”

Kid Auditions – Child, male 11 to 13 for Chris Pine Elizabeth Banks feature film

Dreamworks is holding an open casting call for a new movie called “Welcome To People”. They are seeking a male caucasion kid 11 to 13 years old.

Welcome to People will feature Chris Pine and Elizabeth Banks. Open call is this Saturday in Los Angeles

DreamWorks has announced that they will be holding an open casting 12/4 in L.A. to fill a lead role in the upcoming drama “Welcome to People.” The studio is looking for someone to play a character named Josh, who’s described as “male, 11-13 years-old, Caucasian, athletic, independent and confident.”

Those wanting to audition must be able to quickly memorize very long sections of dialog. Acting experience or an acting resume is not required though may be helpful.

“Welcome to People” stars Chris Pine as a young businessman who, after the death of his estranged father, must deliver $150,000 to the alcoholic sister (Banks) he never knew he had, as well as her 12-year-old son. Reluctant to part with the money, Pine’s character reaches out to his sister and nephew… without revealing who he is.
