The Food Network Iron Chef Tryouts

Nominations for “THE NEXT IRON CHEF” close Tomorrow. If you want to tryout for Iron Chef or know a expert chef you would like to nominate… do so quickly! This is your last chance to get on Iron Chef Season 3 and compete for “God” status in the culinary community. Iron Chef is the hit show that runs on the Food Network and is described as one of the hardest culinary competitions ever devised.

Executive Chefs interested in entering the most elite “cooking club” in the world, must be nationally renowned, well rounded, innovative and charismatic. At least 5 years Executive Chef experience required. Competitors must either be US Citizens or green card holders.

The Food Networks’ “The Next Iron Chef” competition is hosted by Alton Brown. The culinary competition features 10 of America’s greatest chefs, all going after the top prize of being named “Iron Chef.”

As in past seasons, this is one of the toughest culinary competitions ever devised. In the third season of “The Next Iron Chef,” The Chairman will greet a new group of America’s Premiere Chefs and send them on a culinary adventure where one chef will prove that he/she has what it takes to become a “culinary” god.

Filming is scheduled for early June through early July.

Casting is currently underway. Recommendations are being accepted until April 2nd, 2010.
