RISE- Actors Casting call for LOS TRAFICANTES
RISE is a missions organization founded by Hollywood filmmaker Kurt Tuffendsam in partnership with several other veteran missionaries to meet the great need to mobilize and inspire the church worldwide, through the language of film narrative to find their role in the great commission to spread the Gospel.
The first film project, ‘Los Traficantes’ is based on the life of Esteban Mendoza, a former Mexican drug cartel leader who after years of drug trafficking was captured by the authorities. During his imprisonment, he gave his life to Christ and helped lead other prisoners to the foot of the cross. Having made a tangible transformation in the lives of prisoners and officials, he was released after serving just 3 years out of his initial 33 year sentence. Since his release in 2002, Esteban has transformed the lives of hundreds of prisoners and delivered thousands from drug addiction through the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
THIS IS A CASTING CALL FOR MALE & FEMALE SPEAKING ROLES FOR ‘LOS TRAFICANTES’.
ELIGIBILITY: ALL ROLES ARE LATINO/MEXICAN.
ACTORS MUST SPEAK FLUENT ESPANOL (all dialogues are in Spanish).
This are non-paying roles but all meals, housing, transportation, copy and credit will be provided.

CASTING DATES: Dec. 15th 1PM – 5:30PM? Dec. 16th 1PM – 5:30PM
FILM SHOOTING LOCATION/DATES: Tijuana, Mexico/ January 8-22, 2010.
Actors will require a current passport for travel.
