Are you an adult child facing the excruciating decision of putting a PARENT into a NURSING HOME or moving them into YOUR HOUSE? It’s an emotional role-reversal that countless Americans are forced to face and if you’re going through this, we want to hear YOUR STORY.
Powderhouse Productions is making a documentary for a major television network and we’re casting for REAL WOMEN who are determining how to handle the emotional hardship of dealing with an aging parent who can no longer care for themselves and/or their home.
If you are interested in letting us observe YOUR DECISION MAKING PROCESS, Please submit the following:
• A BRIEF BIO: Tell us a little it about yourself, your family and your parent(s). Explain the situation that brought you to the decision to look for alternative care.
• PHOTOS: Of yourself, your parent(s) and even a family photo.
• 3-5 MIN. VIDEO: Talk to the camera and tell us your story. Introduce us to your family, and your parent(s). Tell us a little bit about them, their life, and what happened that made you explore round the clock care. Please explain the emotional journey this has taken on you and your family.
