Old Town Playhouse in Michigan will be holding auditions for its production of “Duck Hunter Shoots Angel” The show is casting 9 new members.
Old Town Playhouse is holding auditions for the hilarious comedy Duck Hunter Shoots Angel, written by Michigan author Mitch Albom, writer of Tuesdays With Morrie and 5 People You Meet in Heaven. This show has parts for seven men and two women.
About the show:
With doubts about his writing career and the choices he’s made in his life, Sandy and his photographer Lenny are sent to the swamps of Alabama to get the scoop on two good ‘ol boys, Duane and Dewell, who think they have shot an angel while hunting. Staying just inches (barely!) ahead of CNN, Sandy and Lenny hope to appease their boss and get the story for their tabloid, which is “ten steps below the National Enquirer!” With the voice of Sandy’s conscience and the Gator Man on their tails/tales, this hysterical comedy, from Michigan favorite Mitch Albom, is sure to lighten the winter and keep you laughing!
