Auditions in Montgomery Alabama – Stage Play “Coloreds of the Confederacy”

Set during the spring of 1865, “Jonathan Saint” and his long-time friend and slave “Roe” are drafted into the Confederate Army despite wanting to remain mere farmers for the Saints’ Family farm. Once joined with their unit, the friends meet an array of characters such as a fast-talking, humorous slave who knows a thing or two about making money, an open-minded southerner with a heart of gold, and an ill-content Confederate Lieutenant. Come witness the Civil War as never seen before in this comedic and dramatic tale that tests the bounds of friendship. A Comedy/Drama
