Have you noticed? Whenever the subject of getting tested for STDs comes up, it gets really, really quiet. MTV wants to change that. And we want to start with… you!
If you (and/or your partner) don’t mind answering a few questions on-camera for an upcoming MTV News segment about this issue… such as…
–Have you ever been tested for STDs? What about HIV? Yes? No? Maybe? When/how often?
–Have you ever asked someone else to get tested? Why? How did s/he respond?
–Did you ever have an STD? Did you tell your partner? What did you say? What did s/he say?
–If you (or your partner) has a chronic STD (like herpes or HIV), how do you avoid getting/passing it to your partner(s)?
