Open Audition for “Bedroom Farce” – A story about four couples, three bedrooms and a hilarious romp by “Britain’s Neil Simon.”
Note: All characters are English.
Casting:
Nick: 30s-40s. A large and whiny hypochondriac, bedridden by a bad back.
Jan: 30s-40s. Nick’s wife, bright, attractive, efficient – “beautifully normal.”
Malcolm: 30s-40s. An uncomplicated and friendly sort.
Kate: 30s-40s. Malcolm’s wife, cheerful and indulgent.
Trevor: 30s-40s. Ernest and Delia’s son, Susannah’s husband and Jan’s ex. Self-absorbed and oblivious.
Susannah: 20s-30s. Trevor’s wife, insecure, neurotic, self-obsessed, a wreck.
