GAS AFTERHOURS LLC, an award wining production company, is seeking Arab American Actors for the upcoming independent feature film Detroit Unleaded; a comedic drama about two Arab-American cousins that own a gas station fueled by the energy, music, and life of a predominantly African-American neighborhood on Detroit’s eastside.
The shoot is scheduled for June/July 2010 in Detroit, Michigan. The script has garnered recognition as an official selection to the Sundance Institute’s Jordan Screenwriters Lab (2007) and as a finalist at the Tribeca Film Festival’s All Access Program (2009).
We are seeking Arab and Arab-American Actors with a wide range of acting experience and individuals/non-actors with a strong desire to perform- all are encouraged to audition.
Scheduled auditions and Walk-ins will be held on Saturday, March 6th from 12noon – 6pm and Sunday, March 7th from 12noon – 5pm at the Arab American National Museum, 13624 Michigan Avenue, Dearborn, MI.
