“Any families who are interested are invited to attend the open casting calls. Families will spend a few minutes speaking with casting producers, Beechler said.”

Casting calls will be from noon to 3 p.m. at Emerald City, 9063 Bond Street, in Overland Park.

Families also can e-mail the casting team before April 25, including the reason why the family needs help and a recent family photograph. Families who do this will receive a front-of-the-line pass so they won’t have to wait in line.

“This season producers are searching for families with unique interests: parents who have ordinary and extraordinary circumstances; teen moms; parents with mean girls or bullying boys; same-sex parents; culturally diverse parents; blended families where both sides are seeking help; parents with teens; and anyone else who desperately needs the help of SuperNanny,” a news release stated. “Producers want families from every type of background who are ready for the opportunity of a lifetime – a visit from America’s number one nanny, Jo Frost.”
