Current recast for role of Dr. Mason in Syllogism Productions, Non-profit indie theater production at Henry Art Gallery on Univ of WA campus June 24, 2010.
As this production is weeks deep into rehearsals and training, and forced to recast a key role at the last minute, all potential submitters must understand that the selected individual has to step in immediately and acclimate herself into the ongoing surroundings. This is an independent production in which everyone is expected to pitch in and make the performance a great one. Must be highly motivated and a team player! No dilettantes/divas!

SUBMISSION PROCEDURE:

AUDITION REQUIREMENTS/DETAILS:
MATURE AUDIENCES RECOMMENDED: Play is a part of the “literature of the absurd/theater of the absurd”canon and contains
adult subject matter/issues/mild sexual situations. All those who audition must be comfortable using some expletives and dealing with
sensitive life situations.
It would also help to be familiar with some of the works of any of the following: Jarry, Genet, Beckett, Pirandello, Ionesco.
Auditions take place Monday, May 3, 2010 in Seattle starting at 2:00 pm. You will be asked to cold read selected passages from the script in a read
along with the rest of the cast members. Auditions are scheduled in 10-15 minute intervals.
