Theatre Casting African-American Males, mid 20s to late 30s

The Legacy Theatre Production Company is holding auditions on December 27th and December 28th, 2010 for the bold, innovative play “The Meeting” by Jeff Stetson, which details a supposed meeting between Malcom X and Martin Luther King Jr. The two men debate their varying approaches to the same grave social problems, both prepared to die for their beliefs but neither aware of how soon their assassins bullets would await them. The auditions will be held from 6:30-7:30pm at 1801 N Tryon St Suite 422. (The office is actually located on Keswick Ave., which is off both Graham Street and N. Tryon. It is across the street from the Amtrak Station and has Keswick Lobby II on the side door) Casting is for the part of Malcom’s Security Guard, an African-American Male early 20s to early 30s and for Martin Luther King, Jr., mid to late 30s. The part of Malcom X has already been cast.
