“Work of Art” Casting this weekend | Los Angeles

By | September 18, 2010

Bravo TV is now casting. Are you the next great artist? Do you have a strong passion for your work? “Work of Art” is seeking Los Angeles area artists who are emerging or mid-career to come audition for the second season of this reality show.

Are you an artist who wants their work featured on a national reality show? Do you feel you have what it takes to compete against other artists and win the grand prize? If so, then come attend the casting call for “Work of Art,” this Sunday from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. at the gallery Patrick Painter, Inc. at Bergamot Station in Santa Monica.

The event will be in Patrick Painter’s West Gallery, 2525 Michigan Ave., Unit B2, Santa Monica, 90404. The gallery phone number is 310-264-5988, or toll free: 877-264-5989.

Production companies Magical Elves and Pretty Matches (Sarah Jessica Parker’s company) are looking for artists (21 and older) from all disciplines whose work has clear long-term potential and reflects a strong voice that demands to be heard.

Like last season, with cast members ranging from recent art school graduates to artists with gallery representation and pieces in the permanent collections of museums, the producers invite artists from all career levels to come out for this potentially life and career-changing opportunity. Call backs will be held on Monday.

You can download this season’s application here, fill it out and bring it to the open casting call/portfolio review. Make sure to follow the directions on the application before attending the casting call!
