I’m A Celebrity! deals with the serious childhood (and adolescent) problem of identity. Harold Dorfmiller is teased and shunned by his classmates. How does he handle the problem? How can his teachers, his parents help him? How can he help himself? Some children retreat into their own lonely little world. Harold Dorfmiller daydreams. He pictures himself as a dragon slayer and as a faster-than-anybody truck driver. Finally, a wise teacher helps him learn to make friends.

Harold – Hates being made fun of by the other kids; retreats into his imagination; sort of a cross between Pee Wee Herman and Steve Urkel.

Mr./Mrs. Burbacher – Harold’s teacher; Wants Harold to learn but tends to make Harold feel bad about himself.

Billy – Harold’s classmate; he makes fun of Harold because he is a nerd.

Betty – Harold’s classmate; she makes fun of Harold because he is a nerd.

Flight – part of the trio Fabulous Flight Fancy, Harold’s greek chorus; they love to have fun and play around in different costumes; they believe he is a celebrity.

Trucker – Loves to drive his/her big rig.

Emcee – Announcer for the TV show

Fancy – part of the trio Fabulous Flight Fancy, Harold’s greek chorus; they love to have fun and play around in different costumes; they believe he is a celebrity.

Dragon Joe – the Fonzy version of a dragon; likes to play it cool

Fabulous – part of the trio Fabulous Flight Fancy, Harold’s greek chorus; they love to have fun and play around in different costumes; they believe he is a celebrity.

Chorus – Various kids that sing the 5 songs contained in the show.
