Auditions for new and progressive interpretations of Titus Andronicus, Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet by William Shakespeare; Tartuffe by Moliere; Antigone; Dr. Faustus by Christopher Marlowe; The Baache by Euripides; The Crucible by Arthur Miller; Wintertime by Charles Mee. The auditions will also be for the following original plays: The Revision, The Revolutionary, The Morning After, White Room, and Captured Hearts by Christopher Prescott. You may also audition for our improv team. The auditions will take place Saturday June 25, 2011 at the Historic Hoover Theater (Studio C) on 1635 Park Ave. in San Jose, CA 95126 (across the street from the Rosicrucian Museum) every 5 mins from 6-10pm. Those interested in auditioning should respond to this posting and schedule an appointment (be sure to provide your name, as well as the time and day you would like to audition). Please prepare one monologue and be ready to read from one of the aforementioned scripts at the audition. A headshot and resume is preferred but not required. All ethnicities and body types please encor. Please be sure to dress to move. Cash stipends will vary depending upon the play and/or part you are cast in.
