Now casting variety acts of all kinds
A Local TV Series “The Gong Show” – Austin Variety Show’s ‘Gong Show, a tribute to the 70s hit television show – is looking for acts. Seeking variety acts and amazing performers of all kinds!Magicians, jugglers, acrobats, comedians, dancers, singers, side show, burlesque acts and other performers.
Dillingerilla Studios – Austin Texas
This will be a one day shoot in mid August.
Auditions will be held on August 4 & 6, 2011
Email GongShow@AustinVarietyShow.com to reserve an audition time. Explain your act or talent and include pictures or links to videos on YouTube, etc. The more we know about your act, the better.
Requirements:
• Performers must be at least 18 years old.
• You must be able to perform on the Austin Variety Show Saturday August 13th, 2011 between 10 p.m. – midnight.
• Your act should be between 30 seconds and 3 minutes long.
• You should be able to set up your props, etc. in 2 minutes or less.
• Acts that use fire or explosives will have to be pre-taped for audience safety. Your routine will be shown on video during the show.
