PRESS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
THE SOUTH AFRICAN BALLET THEATRE IS LOOKING FOR MALE AND FEMALE SOLOISTS.
The South African Ballet Theatre (SABT), the country’s foremost professional ballet company has vacancies for Soloist, Senior Soloist or Principal level dancers. Positions are available for both male and female dancers.
Interested applicants should please submit a full colour, full body photograph as well as a detailed CV – remember to include copies of appropriate certificates and diplomas.
Please also submit a You Tube link or VHS cassette including basic barre and centre work (en pointe for ladies).
Applicants should be appropriately dressed in ballet gear – pink tights and leotards for ladies and tights and t-shirts for men.
Dancers should have strong classical ballet technique; good partnering skills and an ability to quickly remember new choreography and work as part of a closely-knit team. SABT welcomes dancers of all ethnicities and heights.
