Open casting call for “Annie” the musical – Seeking singers, girls 9 to 16
“Annie” is returning to Broadway and casting for roles.
Girls, ages 6-12 of all types and ethnicities, who are great singers, dancers and actresses are encouraged to audition. Please note that while we are searching for Tomorrow’s Annie, we will also be considering girls for all of the orphan roles.
Wear whatever makes you feel comfortable and shows us what you’re all about. Please don’t come in costume – all we care about is seeing you!
Sign in begins at 9:00am, so you can show up anytime between 9:00am and 4:00pm, but please do not arrive earlier. Also, keep in mind that you will audition in the order in which you arrive.
It’s our expectation and hope to audition every girl that arrives for the open call on June 12th, 2011. We will do everything within our power to provide a speedy efficient audition process for all those who attend. We will have multiple audition rooms running at the same time and a large staff to help facilitate the maximum number of actresses seen for auditions.
You will be asked to sing a short (1-2 minute) pop/rock or modern musical theatre song (we ask that you do not perform a song from Annie). Please be sure to bring your sheet music with you, as you may be asked to sing with an accompanist.
Please bring a photo and resume stapled
