Pilgrim Films and Television (the producers of Dirty Jobs, American Chopper and The Ultimate Fighter) is seeking LA-based actors for an Industrial Recruitment Film. The film features several scenarios following US military characters and their adversaries in a struggle over top-secret information.

This is a non-union, not-for-broadcast production filming in the Los Angeles area approximately May 1 – 4, 2011. Auditions will be held in North Hollywood by appointment only on April 11– 13.

All roles listed below are Featured, Speaking roles unless otherwise noted. The rate for all roles is $200/day. Each role will likely require only one day of filming.

ROLE BREAKDOWNS
MALE ROLES: CAUCASIAN/HISPANIC

1. US Special Forces Leader – Caucasian Male, ages 35-40
Character is an American Special Forces Leader. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK FRENCH convincingly and English with an American accent. Must look physically fit and have an authoritative air. Military look encouraged.

2. US Special Forces Personnel #1 – Caucasian Male, ages 25 – 35
Special Forces military personnel, specializing in discreet reconnaissance and surveillance. This is not a grunt. Must have a tough presence and look physically fit but also savvy enough to discuss military intelligence. Military look encouraged.

3. Army Colonel #2 – Hispanic Male, 35 – 45
Hispanic US Navy officer who works in the office of the Secretary of Defense. Must be authoritative. Military look encouraged.

4. Embassy Contact – Caucasian Male, ages 35 – 45
Government office worker. Professional, clean cut, all-American look.

5. U.S. Government Official – Caucasian Male, ages 50 – 60
Typical suit-and-tie type. Must have a presence with some authority.

MALE ROLES: AFRICAN-AMERICAN

6. US Special Forces Tech Expert – African-American Male, ages 25-35
African-American Special Forces Tech Expert, specializing in the electronic support for discreet reconnaissance and surveillance. Must have a tough presence and look physically fit but also savvy enough to discuss computer lingo and military intelligence. A combination of Military and Academic look encouraged.

7. Army Colonel #1 – African-American Male, 35 – 45
African-American Army officer. Must look and act like a leader. This character will be introducing intelligence-related information to other personnel.

MALE ROLES: ARAB-AMERICAN/MIDDLE EASTERN

8. US Special Forces Personnel #3 – Arab-American Male, ages 25 – 35
Arab-American U.S. Special Forces Personnel, specializing in discreet reconnaissance and surveillance. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ARABIC convincingly. Must also speak English with an American accent (or only a slight Arabic accent). This is not a grunt. Must have a tough presence and look physically fit but also savvy enough to discuss military intelligence. Military look encouraged.

9. Middle Eastern Insurgent #1 – Middle Eastern Male, ages 35 – 45
Middle Eastern insurgent with full beard and mustache. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ARABIC convincingly. Must also be able to speak English with convincing Arabic accent. The character is a native, Middle Eastern insurgent, operating outside the system to combat military forces. He must be forceful and determined.

10. Middle Eastern Insurgent #2 – Middle Eastern Male, ages 40 – 50
Middle Eastern insurgent — must appear overweight and have a heavier build. Mustache preferred. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ARABIC convincingly. Must also be able to speak English with convincing Arabic accent. The character is a native, Middle Eastern insurgent, operating outside the system to combat military forces. He must be forceful and determined.

11. Middle Eastern Airport Customs Officer – Middle Eastern Male, ages 30 – 40
Middle Eastern customs officer working in an airport in an Arabic-speaking country. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ARABIC convincingly. Must also be able to speak English with an Arabic accent. The character is a gruff, working class employee.

12. Middle Eastern Police Officer #1 – Middle Eastern Male, ages 35 – 45
Middle Eastern police officer working in an Arabic-speaking country. Must appear overweight. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ARABIC and FRENCH convincingly. Must be able to speak English with an Arabic accent. Must appear authoritative and stern.

13. Middle Eastern Intelligence Officer – Middle Eastern Male, ages 30 – 40
Government agent for a Middle Eastern country. MUST BE ABLE TO SPEAK ARABIC CONVINCINGLY and have a professional demeanor.

14. (NON-SPEAKING ROLE) Middle Eastern Police Officer #2 – Middle Eastern Male, ages 25 – 35
Middle Eastern police officer working in an Arabic-speaking country. Must appear thinner, with a lean build. Must appear authoritative and stern.

FEMALE ROLES: CAUCASIAN/MIDDLE EASTERN

15. Middle Eastern Concierge – Middle Eastern Female, ages 20 – 30
Female concierge at an upscale Middle Eastern hotel. Look will be professional. Must be able to speak Arabic convincingly.

16. US Special Forces Personnel #2 – Caucasian Female, ages 25 – 35
Female Special Forces, specializing in discreet reconnaissance and surveillance. This is not a grunt. Must have a tough presence and look physically fit but also savvy enough to discuss military intelligence. Military look encouraged.
