Casting Multiple roles and Extras for Universal’s ‘Pitch Perfect’

Extras for feature film Baton Rouge Louisiana

The feature film ‘Pitch Perfect’ will begin shooting this month is now casting for extras, featured extras and stand ins.

Pitch perfect stars Anna Kendrick, Brittany Snow and Rebel Wilson and is set for a 2012 release date.

The movie will also be hosting an open casting call and is looking to fill the following roles:

Stand ins: 5’6 males brown hair/ 5’4 females brown hair
Backgrounders of all types!

College aged students
Freshman Moms and Dads
Science Nerds
Frat Guys, Sorority Girls
Korean Students
Dudes with Ponytails
Judges
Non Descript Audience

The casting directors are also looking for singers and groups of singers, please see further instructions below.

Caballero Casting, LLC is now casting the film Pitch Perfect which will be shooting in Baton Rouge!
YOU MAY SUBMIT FOR THE ROLES BELOW HOWEVER, IF YOU COME TO THE OPEN CALL SAT. OCT 15 YOU WILL HAVE A BETTER CHANCE AT GETTING ON!
Pitch Perfect will be directed by Tony Award winning Jason Moore. Jason Moore has directed shows on Broadway, such as “Avenue Q” and “Shrek the Musical”.
Pitch Perfect starring Brittany Snow (American Dreamz) and Anna Camp (The Help) is a story that revolves around A Capella groups that are all to compete in a series of competitions all wanting to win that big regional prize. These A Capella groups all have their own looks, themes, and quirky numbers and follow each other throughout the competitions. The show will take the audience through many ups and downs providing lots of laughter and emotion.

Ages: 18-35yrs old, full of energy and creativity. Singing experience is not required.

This video will give you a good idea of what we are looking for. There are many fun A Cappella videos to check out on You Tube as well.
Get together with your friends, form a group (from 5-10 people).
Come up with a number (Can be any song!). Some groups take songs from Lady Gaga, Michael Jackson, etc….if you know the song, even better. Come up with a basic routine (be creative). Have someone film it for you and send it to us! You can film this number just about anywhere.
If you are not a PERFECT singer that is OK! Some of the groups will be lip synching these songs anyway once we shoot the movie. Be Creative! Have fun with it!
FOR THOSE WHO CANNOT GET A GROUP TOGETHER SUBMIT YOURSELF SINGING AN ACAPELLA NUMBER!
We are taking video submissions for the next 3 weeks. You can also send us a You Tube link of the video.
If you do not have capabilities to tape your number, we can do it for you!
The quicker you get the submission to us the better!
