The Steven Spielberg production “Lincoln” is seeking a boy 9 to 11 to play the role of Tad Lincoln, Lincoln’s youngest son.
The new “Lincoln” movie is holding a casting call for speaking roles and Extras in Richmond.
The new Abraham Lincoln movie will begin filming shortly in Richmond.
Casting the role of Tad, Abe Lincoln’s youngest child. There are rumors that many more roles will need to be cast and that producers are seeking local talent to fill those roles. Tad Lincoln is 9 to 11 years old and this is a great opportunity for a talented boy to appear in a huge Steven Spielberg production.
Mr. Edmunds from the film office commented on the casting call..
“There will be hundreds of extras cast,” Edmunds said. “There will be all kinds of horses and wagons, special effects. It’s going to be a huge production.”
The casting call for Tad Lincoln will be at the Greater Richmond Convention Center this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
