The Orlando Magic Dance team is holding open calls for dancers in Florida. Minimum age to audition is 18 and there is no maximum age.
Dance / cheer auditions are scheduled for June 2011 for the 2011 / 2012 season.
This is a paid dance position and being an NBA cheerleader has many perks including international travel and exposure, making new friends, getting paid for games and rehearsals, great gifts, makeovers and more… plus, being a part of the NBA!
If you have a passion for dance, the community, and sports…then this is the perfect job for you! The Orlando Magic Dancers are consistently one of the hottest dance teams in the NBA! Currently in their 22nd season in 2010-2011, team members perform at all home Orlando Magic Games and appear at a combined total of over 250 events in and outside of Central Florida such as entertaining our U.S. Troops overseas, corporate tradeshows, and so much more!
Orlando Magic Dancers Auditions have been set for Saturday, July 9, 2011
2011-12 Pre-Audition Class dates – June 22, June 23, June 29, June 30, July 6 and July 7 from 7:30p-9:30p and June 25 from 12p-6pm.
Dancers must be over 18 and have experience in jazz and hip-hop dance styles. Gymnastic skills are a big bonus.
