Extras Casting Call Philadelphia “The Silver Lining Playbook”

Extras for feature film – Casting call

Casting Directors in  Philadelphia are  seeking Philadelphia locals for extra work in the Philly area.

This is an open casting call – please do not email or call the casting company – if interested just show up at the location.

“THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK,”  stars  Bradley Cooper and “Winter’s Bone” Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence.

It is also rumored that Robert De Niro, Chris Tucker and Barbara Hershey may be in the film.

“The Silver Lining Playbook” will begin shooting in Philadelphia starting in October 2011 and will continue shooting into November.

“The Silver Linings Playbook” will be directed by David O. Russell (“The Fighter.” )

Shooting will begin October 10, 2011 through the end of November in the Philadelphia area.

We are looking for men and women, age 20-65, all ethnicities. We will NOT be seeing children at this open call.

SAG talent will be seen from 10:00- 11:30 AM. Please bring your paid-up membership card for admission and a current casual SNAPSHOT of yourself. Please DO NOT BRING professional headshots!

Non-union talent will be seen from 11:30am – 3:30 PM Please bring a current casual SNAPSHOT of yourself. Please DO NOT BRING professional headshots!

We are especially looking for real Philly characters, and men, age 30-60 who are of SouthEast Asia /Indian descent.

6900 Lindbergh Blvd. Phila., PA

Directions From Center City:
Take I-95 south
Take exit 14 to merge onto Bartram Ave. At the bottom of the ramp- stay straight. towards Essington Ave
Turn right at Essington Ave
Turn left at S 70th St
Turn right at Lindbergh Blvd (CVS on corner)
Building is on your right (a warehouse, with a chain link fence – look for sign that says “SLP”)

About the movie:

After spending four years in a mental institution, a former teacher moves back in with his mother and tries to reconcile with his ex-wife.
