‘American Idiot’ National Tour – Rock Musical

Casting Call for the national tour of American Idiot, Green Day.

Casting the following roles:
Johnny: early-to-late 20s, from suburbia, but desperate to leave it, must have a great rock voice, must play guitar;

St. Jimmy: early 20s-early 30s, charismatic, urban and a bit dangerous, must have a great rock voice;

Will: early-to-late 20s, forced to stay in suburbia and deal with obstacles in his life while all of his friends leave to find bigger and better things, must have a great rock voice, must play guitar;

Tunny: early-to-late 20s, drawn to the military, gets sent off to the Middle East, must have a great rock voice, must play guitar;

Whatsername: early-to-late 20s, alluring city girl, must have a great rock voice.

Equity principal auditions will be held Feb. 24, 25 & 28, 10 a.m.-1:30 p.m. & 2:30-6 p.m. (all three days) at Ripley-Grier Studios, 520 Eighth Ave. (btwn. 36th & 37th sts.), 16th fl., NYC. Prepare a brief song in pop/rock/punk style. Bring sheet music; an accompanist will be provided. Bring pix & résumés, stapled together. Equity Production Contract (Tiered) or SETA Contract, salary level pending.
