In Living Color – Comedy Auditions

CHICAGO – December 22, 2011 Due to the overwhelming response to the open casting call this past Tuesday for the revival of “In Living Color”, the Laugh Factory Chicago will hold auditions again on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
“We had nearly five hundred aspiring comedians and actors in line down Broadway Street on Tuesday. We want to be able to accommodate everyone so we will hold another casting call. There are so many talented people in Chicago and we want to make sure we see everyone,” founding owner of the Laugh Factory Jamie Masada says.
Individuals wishing to audition should have two minutes of material prepared, including at least two original characters and celebrity impersonations, if possible. A headshot and resume should be included.
Masada was instrumental in casting Jamie Foxx and Jim Carrey in the first “In Living Color” television series. From the Chicago auditions, Masada will suggest a lucky few for Keenan Ivory Wayans to take another look for the new series.
Laugh Factory Chicago is located at 3175 N. Broadway. People are asked to get there early since the first audition was so well attended. “We would like to see as many people as we can,” says Masada.
