Just B Cuz Productions is seeking 8 adult or teen males, 8 adult or teen females, 2 adults or teens of either gender, one 13-year-old male, two 13-year-old females, one male child, and 12 male or female children for DANNY TROOPER IN THE HALL OF VALHALLA!, a mythological adventure written and directed by Brent Alles.
Dates of the production are May 5-7, 2011, at the Lowell Performing Arts Center (Lowell High School). Rehearsals in late March and April (also at Lowell High School).
Auditions are on Saturday, February 26, 2011, at 11:30 a.m. and Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at 6:00 p.m. at the Englehardt Library, 200 N Monroe, Lowell, MI 49331.

THE STORY: Two years have passed since young Danny Trooper first visited the Land of ModMyth, a world populated by all of the heroic characters from the past 100 years. Now, Danny’s father G. I. Maxx will take him deeper into the mythological realms with a visit to the Hall of Valhalla, the home of the Norse pantheon. There, Danny, along with his best friend Janet (“Princess Starlight” in ModMyth) will meet the colorful characters of stories told long ago: the wise Odin, the benevolent Frigga, Balder the Brave, one-handed master of combat Tyr, Heimdall the all-seeing, and the boisterous master of thunder and lightning himself – Thor.
However, all is not well in Asgard, as the malevolent trickster Loki and his evil family (Loki’s long-suffering wife Sigyn, his daughter Jormungand the serpent, his other daughter Hela – a gothic princess of the dead, his son Fenris the Wolf, and his other son Narfi the Nerd) threaten to bring about the destruction of Asgard through Ragnarok, the “final battle” from the myths of old. Little does Loki’s family know that there is actually a darker evil at work that will allow the return of a foe the Heroes of ModMyth thought long vanquished.
Those same Heroes – Mu Shu the porcine kung fu master, Wrex the Wunder Dog, feline worrier Mr. Jeepers, and brave Eagle Feather – will help Danny, Starlight, and the rest of the Norse pantheon battle the forces of evil not only for the fate of the Norse world but the universe itself.
