Young Stars On The Rise
Premier Teen Musical Production Company based in Middletown, New Jersey, less than one hour from NYC.
Seeking teens to act, sing and dance their way through the new original book, BROADWAY JAYNE, slated to open for 6 -8 performances in June 2011 in Middletown, NJ, and two high potential showcase performances in NYC later in the summer.
Middletown Arts Center is a state of the art, 250 seat theater located right next to the Middletown NJ Transit train stop.
This is one of the most beautiful theaters in the tri-state area and a excellent training arena for performers at all levels. The Center is equipped with two large luxury dressing rooms and beautiful lobby and art gallery.
All singers in the show will have head mics.
Young Stars On The Rise has a full tech crew with much experience in producing teen musicals. Rehearsals will be held at the Center.
Broadway Jayne is a full length, main stage production is planning to open with performances in mid to late June 2011. NYC showcase performances would take place in a 99 seat theater.
Auditions are Feb 12th at Ripley Grier Studios, 520 8th Ave, one block from Penn Station. Second round audtions and callbacks are being held at MAC on 3/13 at noon.
Rehearsals are held mostly on Sundays only in April and May. Rehearsals in June are Saturdays and Sundays. This is a very popular rehearsal schedule and works as long as everyone is dedicated.
All actors in the production will be asked to purchase 12 tickets in advance. ($180). There is no fee to be in the show. Full color tickets given out at first rehearsal. These are unique and fun to give as gifts! Ticket holders get priority seating. This policy helps us to produce the show with confidence and insures families will support the talent and efforts of their growing artists. Good for family and friends.
Young Stars On The Rise is a true training ground for the serious actor, singer and dancer, and for those just starting out. This is not community theater. This is a training ground for off Broadway level performing.
Some of the artists involved with Young Stars On The Rise have worked off-Broadway, and as professionals in the biz. We are seeking talented performers and those who are willing to work at growing.
