By | February 12, 2011

George
Casting notice posted on auditionsfree.com, casting location: TBA, New York, NY
The Spitting Image is casting their new short HD film, George, an existential zombie movie–with no zombies in it. George is to be shot on or near the weekend of March 19th or 26th, in the Bushwick area of Brooklyn, NY. We hope to have at least 2 rehearsal dates prior to shooting.
Seeking:
–GEORGE, Male, 30s-40s, slight build, willing to have grungy haircut/style, able to grow beard, LEAD.
George is a former high school teacher who may or may not be losing his mind in a post-apocalyptic world that is hauntingly familiar. He is no stranger to struggle, but keeps an even frame of mind throughout it all. He is not athletic, but he can take care of himself.
And
–FRANCIS, Male, 302-40s, Large build, SUPPORTING.
Francis is an imposing, menacing figure. Just seeing him is enough to scare a normal person. He wields a large knife.
Auditions will be held February 19th and 26th, by appointment. Please respond with your headshot/resume along with your availability during the weekends of March 19-20 and 26-27. Please prepare some or all of Shakespeare’s To Be or Not to Be solliloquy (Hamlet IIIi, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/To_be,_or_not_to_be) and be ready to cold read. No pay, but copy, credit, meals and transportation provided. NON-UNION
