Singer/Actors Needed (2M, 2F) for new project “I Stand”
“I Stand” is a one-man focused musical production going up November 11 and 12 (possible extension) in New York City. Seeking performers to play a variety of characters throughout the show. The show will feature music from Broadway and Off-Broadway shows as well as local theater writers and some new material.
Breakdown is as follows:
Females (20s-40s): Will play a variety of characters throughout the show. Need a strong alto voice to a mezzo pop belt. Must be able to harmonize and pick up music easily. Music-reading abilities a plus. All ages, body types and ethinicities encouraged.
Males (20s to 30s): Will play a variety of characters throughout the show. Need a strong tenor voice with power. Must be ok with playing homosexual at times during the show. Must be able to harmonize and pick up music easily. Music-reading abilities a plus.
When: Wednesday Septermber 7th from 7pm til 10pm

Auditions are by APPOINTMENT from 7pm til 8:45pm. Callbacks will be the same night from 8:45 til 10.

Audition slots are every 5 minutes from 7pm til 8:45. You can request a slot, but it might not be possible. We will email you back with a confirmation.
Notes/What to Bring: Please prepare a 1 minute monologue and 32 bars (up to 1 min) of a contemporary musical theater song that shows off your voice. Accompanist provided. There will be a movement call at 8:45. This is not a strong dance show, but do come prepared to move.
Rehearsals will be 3 to 4 days a week in the evenings. All in Manhattan.
NO PAY. NON UNION. Performers will receive two (2) comps to the show.
