Specifically seeking older men to be considered for the role of Captain Smith. Additionally, several tenor roles for men mid 20s to early 40s are still open.

Male Actor, attractive 35-55, sought for the Emcee role in a Moulin Rouge style show for a nonprofit awards gala. The character is charming, gallant, and playful with the occasional French phrase. Avon Tryouts for Singers

Avon Voices invites women to share their unique and beautiful voices with the world! Avon Voices is searching for two extraordinary female singers with that special “something” to record a professionally produced album. During the Avon Voices Singing Talent Search, nearly 200 global contenders will fly to exciting destinations, enjoy glam Avon makeovers, and work with music industry professionals…in the search for the final two singers. It’s the opportunity of a lifetime!
Up to ten finalists will join together with Avon Voices celebrities to sing and record the Avon Voices Anthem, an original song written by Diane Warren, one of the world’s most prolific songwriters. The Anthem will be available for purchase, with a percentage of proceeds donated to the Avon Foundation for Women for its Global Campaign to End Violence Against Women and Girls.

Auditions

Children’s Show Hosts – We are casting show hosts for a variety of family show products, including our Peanuts themed children’s show. Please prepare a humorous, family-oriented monologue of no longer than 2 minutes in length that displays your personality, comedic ability, and confidence on stage. If you sing, please come prepared to also audition as a singer. You may be asked to dance, so bring appropriate clothes and shoes for movement. Please bring a current photo and a one-page resume.

Country & Pop Singers – We are casting singers for a guest interactive karaoke show featuring pop music and an all new country themed song and dance show with various country hits! Prepare two up-tempo songs in a pop and/or country style. An accompanist will be provided. Bring sheet music in the proper key or prerecorded instrumental tracks (without lead vocals) on CD. A cappella is not recommended. Cassettes will not be accommodated. You may be asked to read a brief monologue and to dance, so bring appropriate clothes and shoes for movement. Please bring a current photo and a one-page resume.

Dancers (Modern, Jazz & Pop Styles) – We are looking for energetic, technically trained dancers for an all new high energy dance show displaying different styles of dance from Jazz to Modern to Pop. You will be taught a combination during the audition. Please come prepared in comfortable and appropriate clothing and shoes. If you are interested in any of the other shows please arrive at the 9am time. Please bring a current photo and a one-page resume.

Costume Characters – We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to portray Snoopy and the Peanuts Characters! You must be 4’10” – 5’4”. Dance and acting experience is an asset, but is not required. You will be interviewed and will be asked to dance, so bring appropriate clothes and shoes for movement.

Interviews

Theatre Attendants – Applicants wishing to be considered for a Theatre Attendant/Usher position in one of our theatre venues including concerts in the Redwood Amphitheatre. Be prepared for an interview. Both part time seasonal and full time seasonal opportunities exist.

Theater & Event Technicians – We are looking for technicians for a variety of shows and theatres including indoor, outdoor, and concert venues, along with special event crews and Halloween Haunt technical build and support. Interviews will be conducted for experienced sound operators, lighting operators, follow spot operators, theatrical carpenters and stage positions. Both part time seasonal and full time seasonal opportunities exist. Please bring a one-page resume.

Costumers & Dressers – We are looking for costumers and dressers for a variety of shows and products. Interviews will be conducted for experienced costumers to build and dress our shows, and maintain our costume characters. Costume construction experience is an asset, but not required. Positions also build costumes and props for our Halloween Haunt event. Both part time seasonal and full time seasonal opportunities exist. Please bring a one-page resume.

Stage Managers & Supervisors – We are looking for experienced Stage Managers and Supervisors to manage a variety of programs and show products. Casting Zombie Movie

‘Dead Rabbits Don’t Dance,’ a short, silent ZOMBIE film is CASTING!

Overdue Films is casting for the upcoming horror short: ‘Dead Rabbits Don’t Dance.’

This is a short, silent film about a Boy who discovers that the dead are coming back to life in his sleepy town.

We will be holding a casting session on February 5th in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

We are in search of FOUR roles:

1.) The Boy. A 12-14 year old kid who will be featured in every scene, and is the story’s protagonist.
2.) The Father. A terrifying, 40-50 year old man. Alcoholic, abusive.
3.) A large ZOMBIE man (30-50), intimidating, scary.
4.) Living Dead Girl (20-30), beautiful, dead.

Note: This is an entirely silent film, so facial expression and body movement is important.
