Production company has a female Latin R&B/Pop singing group!
Seeking female singer to the group! You must be between the ages of 14-18, physically fit, serious about a professional music career, being on stage & touring. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO REHEARSE IN or around the New York City area! You must be able to sing, dance & PERFORM. Also seeking Singers that can Rap! The audition is on Wednesday Oct. 12th 6:15 pm @ 520 8th Avenue, bet 36th & 37th Streets, NYC, New York 16th floor. You will need to sing a verse & a chorus of a cover song (a song made popular by someone else) of your choice acapella! If you have a demo that you can leave with us please bring it. As A&R manager, Verna oversaw all A&R administration for the label which included album budgets, backend payments, sample and side artist clearances for soundtracks and compilation albums along with such artists as B2K, 3LW, Jill Scott, Mandy Moore, Ghostface Killa, and Glen Lewis. Adding co-executive album producer to her credit for “A Season of Soul and Sounds of Christmas” album and A&R Director for the Ghostface Killah “Bulletproof Wallets” album. She organized and executed special projects for Epic Records that included the negotiation of production contracts and the processing of development and demo deals. Being the direct contact for all departments in the Epic Urban Group for business affairs and A&R administration has given Verna the ability to understand the clients’ business needs while staying true to their aesthetic sense to be creative. Verna received her B.S. from Hofstra University in Jazz/Commercial Music, Vocal Performance. This experience has given Verna a unique perspective on bridging the creative process of our artist’s projects with the business structure of the entertainment world.
