CBS is now casting the new season of ‘The Amazing Race’ – An open casting call will be held in the Bay Area this October 1st. The tryouts for the 2012 season will be held in Danville, please see the details below.
THE AMAZING RACE is a 7-time Emmy Award-winning adventure reality series hosted by Emmy-nominated host Phil Keoghan. The show has teams of 2 compete against other teams as they travel around the world in a race to be first to a final destination.
If you want to travel the world and compete for 1 million dollars – here’s your chance. The Amazing Race has teams travel from destination to destination. Teams must complete various challenges to get to the next location. Teams are eliminated from the show and the team to arrive at the final destination first will take home $1 million.
Both teammates must be present to audition. teams can be 2 people with an existing relationship such as a husband/wife, coworkers, siblings, friends, etc.
Since this is a reality TV competition show, CBS is seeking dynamic and outgoing individuals.
Applicants are encouraged to creatively express why they should be considered for the show.
CBS has also suggested questions to answer while auditioning;
1. Why would you make a great team to win The Amazing Race?
2. What do you hope to improve or change in your current relationship?
3. What issues do you need to work on?
4. How much have you traveled together?
5. What team do you most relate to from the past season?

Who: Must be 21 years or older to audition
