AUDITION FOR SHORT GRITTY DARK COMEDY
STRAWBERRY GASHES is a student film about an amateur drug-dealer who must salvage his first pick-up stashed in a playground that is also the hideout of a clawing murderess before she, or worse – the police, discover the goods and leave him no money for rent.
Auditions will be held on October 19th, 2012 between 12:30pm and 4:30pm at 1104 S Wabash, Room 505. This is an open casting call along with three other short films. Please bring a headshot and resume or send to alexzavani@gmail.com and someone will contact you to schedule a time slot.
Casting for:
WALKER (18-22), a high school student dressed like a modern day greaser.
BUG (18-22), Walker’s outspoken best friend.
STRAWBERRY GASHER (20-25), a glamorous murderess.
WALKER’S MOTHER, (33-35), a strong-willed Latina.
PINATA STORE EMPLOYEES (20-30), Spanish speaking preferred.
LITTLE BOY (8-11), an audacious big brother.
LITTLE GIRL (7-10), a lovely little sister.
This is a low-budget student project. Actors who work on the shoot will receive meals and a copy of the completed film.
