THE AMAZING RACE is a long running competition reality show that offers the winner a huge prize of $1 million. The show has won 8 Emmy’s and its popularity is as strong as ever. The Amazing Race is hosted by Phil Keoghan and the series features teams of adventurers racing around the world one destination at a time.
The teams of 2 compete in multiple challenges to find their next destination and get there. The challenges are a mix of mental and physical tasks and only when the team competes the task are they given their next destination.w
The show casts teams of two with pre-existing relationships such as couples, siblings, friends and co-workers. The team that reaches the final destination first walks off with the grand prize. As the show progresses, teams are eliminated and it comes down to the final teams going after the gold.
The next open call will be held in Florida and teams should come together.
The 2013 season will begin filming in the spring of 2013 and these are the final open calls to be eligible to compete in the 2013 season.
All applicants must be U.S. citizens to qualify and at least 21 years of age before the start of filming. All applicants must apply with a teammate.
