The production of ‘Kids These Days’ will take place in the Strawberry One-Act Festival hosted by the The Riant Theater, an Off-Broadway company. ‘Kids These Days’ focuses on the issues teenagers deal with today and how the problems we have are constantly belittled by society, when in fact, they determine who we grow up to become. In order to portray teenagers accurately, I thought the best way to achieve that was to only hire real teenagers. Not the 30 year olds who look abnormally young, but people ages 15-19 who are experienced, passionate and dedicated. I am casting the production now for rehearsals to begin in July. Please do not apply if you will not be available this summer. First show is August 3, 2012. The project officially ends around the middle of August.
