Audition notice:
MMAS’ Black Box Theater is auditioning for all men’s roles in the Tony award-winning musical, Next to Normal, on Tuesday, June 5th 6:30-8:00
Callbacks to sing and read with actresses already cast as Diana and Natalie will be the same night at 8 PM.
Location: Mansfield Music and Arts Society rehearsal suite (MMAS), 30 Crocker Street (off Rt. 106, behind Bank of America, next to Grogan Marciano Sports), Mansfield, MA 02048
Please note:
-Shows are the weekends (including Thursdays, September 13th and 20th) of September 7th, 13th and 20th
-Actors must be available Labor Day weekend
-Actors’ schedules will dictate summer rehearsal schedule
-Actors, please bring calendars/conflicts to auditions
Please prepare the following songs from the show for the following roles:
Gabe-“There’s a World” and “I am the One”
Dan/Dr. Madden- “I am the One” and “He’s Not Here”
Henry-“Perfect for You”
You may also prepare a song that is appropriate for style of the show. If asked to stay for callbacks, songs from the show will be gone over. Familiarity with the songs beforehand will benefit the actors greatly.
