Movie Casting Extras “42” with Harrison Ford

Tennesee and Alabama auditions for extras

“42”, a movie based on the Jackie Robinson story is now filming in Tennessee and Alabama. “42” stars Harrison Ford and Chad Bozeman. The film tells the story of how Jackie Robinson signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers and then went on to become a baseball legend.

The film is looking for extras to work on the set. All extras will be paid. Casting Directors, Catrett Locke will be looking for many people of all ethnicities to play people living in the 1940’s.

The minimum age to apply is 18 Please note that children will not be seen at this time and all extras need to be adults who are legal to work in the United States.

Looking for great character faces
Baseball fans, umpires and coaches
People with the 1940’s look.
Everyone, please come relaxed and dress In your best 1940’s attire

All extras will be paid – extras typically make $80 to $100 a day for a 8 to 12 hour work day.

Boutwell Auditorium
1930 Reverend Abraham Woods Jr Blvd.
Parking tickets from deck next to Boutwell will be validated at registration.

Wardrobe Notes:

· ABSOLUTELY NO BROWN

· Women-Dresses, oxford shoes, pumps, hats (small) vintage if they have them

· Men-Dress pants, Short Sleeve button shirts, suspenders, sportcoats, dress shoes

Casting directors are asking everyone who is attending to dress in a 1940’s style. Please bring something to write with like a pen. Also, if you have headshots or a photo of yourself, please bring it as well.

No acting experience is required to work as an extra.

Please do not bring any kids or anyone under the age of 18.

    I’m 53 but look younger. Not sure if I have a 1940 look in me but I’m thinking about coming.

    So, are there not going to be any kids as extras because my mom and I were going to come for the casting calls in Chattanooga but it says you have to be 18 or older.
