Disney’s “The Lone Ranger” starring Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer will be casting extras in Moab Utah this weekend. The Jerry Bruckheimer movie will have Johnny Depp(Pirates of the Caribbean) playing Tonto and Armie Hammer (The Social Network) as The Lone Ranger.
An open casting call is scheduled for Sunday April 1st 2012. The movie will be shooting in Colorado and Utah this summer and is looking for background actors and extras to use in the movie. All extras will be paid.
“The Lone Ranger” will be released in 2013.
Sande Alessi Casting is looking for male and female extras that are over 18 years of age. Extras will be required to have ID. Casting directors are looking for extras of all ethnicities but are specifically interested in Native American and Asian extras.
Casting directors for the movie are also very interested in very tall men (7 feet or taller) and large individuals who weigh 400 lbs or more. They are also specifically seeking people with “incredibly interesting character faces”.
