Casting Characters for a short film shot in Super 16 running 5-8min in length.

Auditions will be held at De Anza College in Cupertino first week of February times TBA.

Characters Names and Rolls:

Protagonist: Nayomi Watson age range (10-14) mixed race- abused child, grows up in a dysfunctional family, subjected to an abusive schizophrenic mother..

Antagonist: Damita Watson mother (25-35) African American woman, abuses her daughter Nayomi Watson, assuming she is the devil locked in her closet.

Supporting Female Character: Hattie Benson grandmother (45-65) African American woman

Supporting Characters: Sargent Mandelaney (Caucasian) ready for retirement. (55-65)
Rookie Officer Drewman (African American) fresh out of training academy. (25-30)
Officer Alexandria (no specific race) Child Protective Service (30-40
Officer Mitchell (no specific race) Child Protective Services (35-45)

Title: “A Thirst for Justice”
Genre: Suspense Thriller
Synopsis: A tarnished childhood past of molestation and torture motivates a woman when her morals are pushed into action against her will; turning her into a predator of pedophiles preying on the innocent.
Schedule Shooting Date: Mid-February/ March

This film will be shot as a short and then converted into a feature.
