Since 1999 the Westcoast Black Theatre Troupe has been providing culturally diverse entertainment in the beautiful Sarasota, Florida area. Our mission is to produce shows that promote and celebrate the African-American experience, attract diverse audiences, support and develop African-American artists, and build the self-esteem of African-American youth. We are known for our high quality, thought-provoking and energetic, entertaining performances. During our Annual Auditions on September 15, 2012 consider auditioning for one of our 2012-2013 shows: Nate Jacob’s 50s Jukebox Revue, August Wilson’s Jitney, Soul Crooners 2 and It Ain’t Nothin’ But The Blues.
